
August 2 was a gorgeous Saturday, and I decided to try to climb
Williwaw. At 5450, Williwaw is the tallest peak in the front
range of the Chugach Mts. in the Anchorage bowl. It is pretty far
back there and I was going to attempt a difficult route by first
climbing The Ramp, and then following a craggy ridge for 1.5
miles to Williwaw. In this pic you can see The Ramp (to the left
of my L shoulder) and the ridge that curves around behind me.
